A commission for KC of her kendavi character, Teni. The kendavi species was created by me, although the character design for Teni is KC's work. Gonna take a minute to pimp out the new ArtRage 2.5, which I used for this picture, and is well worth checking out.

Oh my! What technique did you use to get art rage to look like watercolors? O_o I've been using the full version of art rage for a long time, and I still have not figured out how to achieve the watercolor look that you seem to have figured out.

Well, I'm still fiddling around with the technique, but what I've got down so far is kind of difficult to explain. I use the marker tool, and get the effect by varying the wetness of the marker to blend and add in watercolor 'splotches'. Usually, I lay down the base color at 40% wetness, then blend with 100% wetness. But I've also found some neat effects by laying down white at 100%, and then adding in color over that, usually also at 100%.
